With the aim of taking the riding pleasure of Jaguar owners to new heights, Jaguar has released its' new advanced vehicle entertainment technology.
Good news to all Jaguar owners and fanatics out there: Jaguar Cars has released an innovative rear-seat entertainment technology called the Rear Screen Connectivity System (RSCS). This innovation is an AV panel that allows rear-seat passengers to connect any digital device that has an audio/visual output.
The RSCS consists of two seven-inch LCD screens integrated into the driver and front passenger headrests. It also has two dual-band infrared wireless headphones. Its' main selling point, however, is complete versatility. It allows rear-seat passengers to connect any digital device from a DVD player to an MP3 player. It also features a slot of memory cards that can be used in digital photos and various game consoles. RSCS truly means flexibility.
The other benefits of the RSCS include a fast and convenient playback of portable digital devices while you are traveling in your Jaguar. It also allows you to use two separate devices at the same time, through the two sets of wireless headphones. The system is also in complete integration with your Jaguar's interior for that discrete and unconnected appearance. Plus it has the ability to support the use of any portable digital device with an audio/video output. And is covered by the vehicle warranty of four years/50K miles if installed during the time of delivery.
According to Brenda Fevrier-Luhs, Jaguar North America Vehicle Accessories Sales and Marketing officer, the integration of the RSCS in Jaguar cars is a technological breakthrough in vehicle personalization. "Ideally suited to satisfy all rear-seat passengers and keep them occupied throughout their journey in a Jaguar, the RSCS is extremely versatile and provides a luxury feature not available in all mid-size vehicles. We are the first OE to introduce this scan disc/card reader technology before any other luxury automotive manufacturer."
